Kudu Kaya, situated on the eastern side of the Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area, is essentially a working farm that offers camping and formal accommodation.
What we loved about the camping area was that all the campsites are situated along a mountain stream. An attempt has been made to use the riverine forest along it to keep individual sites relatively private and secluded from neighbouring ones. In addition to ensuring an element of privacy, the setting of the campsite provides much needed shade in summer and create a unique atmosphere.
For the some the ablutions and washing area might be considered a but rustic, but what Kudu Kaya lacks in facilities, it makes up for in location and ambience.
