Porcupine Rest Camp is a wonderful semi-rustic family campsite located near the farming settlement of Vleiland in between Laingsburg and Seweweekspoort.

Its situation on the Northern side of the Klein Swartberg Mountains where the Great Karoo and Klein/Little Karoo meet, makes it an ideal destination if you’re looking for a peaceful nature escape away from the weekend crowds. Owners, Joy and Allan Clack have made every effort to ensure that campers have maximum privacy and endeavor to ensure their guests have a wonderful stay.

While no electricity is available, the three private campsites do have hot water ablutions and are lit at night by lanterns. An added bonus for those wanting to camp without the effort, camping gear is available for hire and you can request to have your campsite set up for you prior to your arrival.
